Injured Worker Claim Possible After 4 Construction Workers Hurt

Construction workers already face dangers at most construction sites. However, when a construction site is located on a California roadway, it can be even more dangerous. A recent construction accident on a turnpike in another state left four workers injured. The accident could result in an injured worker claim by one or more of the workers involved.

The incident happened early one morning in May at a construction site on a major roadway. Construction crews were picking up cones with a vehicle in order to reopen a previously closed lane. Somehow, a second vehicle ended up crashing into the vehicle carrying the construction workers. The driver of the second vehicle died at the scene of the incident.

One construction worker was transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital. Another worker was airlifted to another local medical facility in order to undergo surgery. Two other workers suffered minor injuries. They were also taken to a hospital for medical staff to take a look at their injuries. This is apparently the second accident at this particular construction site, which was located on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
