Managing Partner Zachary H. Sacks Honored With Prestigious Award

Zachary H. Sacks, managing partner at Sacks Law Group, APC has just been recognized as one of the 2020 “Lawyer of the Year” award recipients by Best Lawyers. This award has been given for his work in workers’ compensation law for the Los Angeles community.

Attorney Zachary H. Sacks was given this award based solely on the high feedback from his peers. Only one lawyer from each practice area in each community is given this honor each year by Best Lawyers. Zachary H. Sacks will also be included in the 26^th edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in workers’ compensation law.

Attorney Zachary H. Sacks graduated from Yale University and Columbia Law School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He has been involved in workers’ compensation law in California since he came here in the 1960s.

• He has been instrumental in the formation and amendment of workers’ compensation laws in California, having testified in the State Capital before legislative committees.

• He was the first and founding President of the California Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorneys Association in 1982 and 1983.
• He was given the Warren L. Hanna Lifetime Achievement Award by his peers in 2004.
